We had our first shoot for Gills this morning. It was 7am and there were muffins. I always forget that when we bring food to shoots, there usually isn't the time for people to eat. We're all doing stuff. Consequently, that's means I'm left with a magnitude of unhealthy snacks in my apartment that I would normally never trust myself around. (For the record Quinn ate four and a half muffins. I ate two and a half. Neither of us feel good about ourselves.)

I was really pleased with the quality of the light. We lucked out with Ada's. That building has "heck of" windows. It was my first time there and I'm mad at myself for that. It's a pretty sweet place. They sell table top games and science-y knick knacks. And they grow plants in beakers. The floors shook. That wasn't my favorite, but I forgive them. The floors couldn't help it.

We only had about an hour to get all the shots we needed, so we had to move pretty quickly. Overall it turned out just how I imagined, which is pretty awesome. I've spent so much time visualizing shots in my head. It's a relief when you get around to creating the physical thing and it all starts matching up.
