Keara Burton is a freelance film and video editor currently working in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from the suburbs just outside of Seattle, she grew up making short films with her friends and playing make believe at the beach. In 2017 she moved to Los Angeles where she earned her MFA in Film Editing from the American Film Institute. Since then she has edited several feature films, spent 2 years at Blumhouse Productions as an in-house post-PA and Assistant Editor.

Her feature editing credits include: Survival Skills, 2020 (Stacy Keach, Vayu O’Donnell); Double Walker, 2021; and Linoleum (Jim Gaffigan and Rhea Seahorn) directed by Colin West, which premiered at the SXSW film festival in March 2022.
